NobleCause Consultancy Firm works with international nonprofits, foundations, NGOs, community-based organisations, and social enterprises across Africa and globally. We exist to solve one of the most persistent challenges in the nonprofit sector: organisations with genuine community impact that remain underfunded, under-structured, and invisible to the donors positioned to transform their reach.

The challenge is rarely the mission. It is almost always the gap between what an organisation does on the ground and how it is able to communicate, structure, and position that work to the funders who can resource it. NobleCause was built to close that gap — not just for a grant cycle, but as a lasting organisational transformation that changes how an organisation is perceived, funded, and sustained.

Meet the Founder

Margaret Gitau
Founder & Lead Consultant

Margaret Gitau is a nonprofit strategist and resource mobilisation specialist with extensive experience working alongside international NGOs, community-based organisations, women-led initiatives, and grassroots groups operating across diverse regions globally. She founded NobleCause to address a gap she encountered at every level of the sector: capable, committed nonprofit leaders without the strategic infrastructure, funding systems, or visibility frameworks to match the scale of their impact.

Margaret specialises in organisational funding strategy, capacity building, impact positioning, and multi-channel resource mobilisation. She has worked with over 100 organisations globally and helped raise more than $50 million in grants, donations, crowdfunding, and strategic partnerships. Her approach goes beyond grant writing — she builds the governance structures, funding pipelines, and global visibility systems that make organisations permanently competitive in the eyes of donors, foundations, and institutional partners.

Beyond consultancy, Margaret actively leads and supports initiatives focused on women's economic empowerment, girls' education, and capacity building for early-stage nonprofit founders. This lived, ground-level experience gives her a perspective that bridges the gap between global donor expectations and the operational realities facing organisations serving communities across diverse contexts.
